Meet Birmingham's Facial Bar: Fancy Face Bham

Looking for a fun and relaxed environment for a facial in Birmingham? Look no further than Fancy Face Bham Facial Bar. Fancy Face is Birmingham’s first facial bar which opened their doors in August 2020. After years of practice as a licensed esthetician, Magen Cash opened her own business, Fancy Face, in 2018 and expanded to the facial bar in 2020.

Fancy Face uses Eminence Organic Skin Care for most of their facial services. I first visited Fancy Face in 2019 when I first opened Made. We spoke about the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, and I loved that Magen chose to use Eminence for her facial services. She sent me home with the Strawberry Rhubarb Masque, and I fell in love. Eminence Organic Skin Care is a line specifically created for use by licensed estheticians and spa professionals. I started visiting Fancy Face again after the facial bar opened and saw a few different estheticians. I've gotten the Fancy Face facial, Brighter Days Facial, Calm and Comfort Facial Turn Back Time Facial, an Enzyme Peel, and dermaplaning. Out of all of these services, my favorite is the Calm and Comfort facial. I love it so much! My Calm and Comfort Facials ended with Ice Globes (I can't remember if these are a standard part of that facial or if I added it on). Whatever facial you decide on, ask for the addition of the Ice Globes. They are such a treat! Like I'm dreaming of how they feel right now, and they are so soothing and addicting. The Fancy Face Facial is a firming facial that provides immediate results and includes ultrasonic, a blueberry plumping mask, and lymphatic massage.
The Brighter Days Facial is a facial for brightening skin and includes exfoliation and an enzyme treatment to help bright the face.
The Calm and Comfort Facial is a gentle facial for calming and soothing the skin.
The Ice Globes booster (THE BEST!) is a great addition to ant facial for reducing swelling, calming the skin and for giving your skin a beautiful glow.
The Turn Back Time Facial uses nanoneedling to increase collagen production. Nanoneedling is a similar procedure to microneedling in the fact that hey both use the skin's natural healing mechanism to enable the skin to produce more collagen. Nanoneedling differs in the fact that it only punctures the first layer of skin, while microneedling can penetrate into the deeper layers of skin.
An Enzyme Peel is a great alternative to an acid peel in that it is lighter and more gentle, but still exfoliates by removing dead skin cells.
Dermaplaning is a great addition to any facial (and may be included in some facials) in that it physically removes the first layer of dead skin and fine hairs to allow for better product absorption.
